His current restaurant is located in a former cowshed in the Baerl district of Duisburg. The location combines modern industrial culture with a strong regional connection to nature. The restaurant is awarded one star in the Michelin Guide.

One lives in London, the other on the "most beautiful island in the world." They met by chance via Facebook. From a spontaneous message, the idea for this special event eventually grew. Following the motto "nothing ventured, nothing gained," I reached out to Stefan again and asked if he’d like to cook with us – and to my great surprise, he agreed immediately. I was thrilled!
I am all the more excited for this evening, which will certainly bring some specialties from our shared homeland to the table – paired with exciting stories from his extraordinary career.
Stefan Pappert is a renowned German chef, internationally known as the "Chef to the Queen" as well as for his leading role in event catering for major sports venues.
Royal Household (2017–May 2023): Official title "Chef to The Royal Household." He cooked at Windsor Castle for Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip and was significantly involved in the logistics for the coronation of King Charles III.
London Stations: Worked at the Landmark Hotel and provided exclusive catering for Arsenal FC.

Jens has the honor of wielding the wooden spoon once again at his former workplace. In doing so, we enjoy not only the special atmosphere but also the magnificent view.
Jens Bräuning is a renowned German chef who has gained great popularity, especially in Mallorca. He significantly shaped the culinary reputation of the Lila Portals Beach Restaurant & Bar in Portals Nous.
For many years, Jens led the kitchen at Lila Portals, developing high-quality, creative Mediterranean cuisine with modern and vegan influences. Under his leadership, the restaurant established itself as a staple in the island's upscale gastronomy sector.At the end of 2019, he left Lila Portals to realize a personal passion project together with his wife Nicole. Since July 2020, he has been running his own restaurant, Adelfas by Jens, in Nova Santa Ponsa.
Before his time at Lila Portals, Jens Bräuning worked as Culinary Director at the 5-star Hotel Dorint Royal in Camp de Mar, among others. He also became known to a wider audience through TV formats such as the ZDF show "Stadt, Land, Lecker," where he competed in a duel with Nelson Müller.
Lila Portals is managed by owner Stefan Zaelke; the kitchen management has been in the hands of William Huertas since 2025. Jens Bräuning remains a close friend of the house and occasionally participates as a guest chef in special events such as "Stars at Lila."
